The Elvis Explosion has grown in popularity over the past 18 years. After the first two years, the event moved to the La Crosse Center and the prize money has increased from $1,000 to over $10,000 in cash and prizes, drawing some of the top Elvis Tribute Artists from across the globe. According to Ronny Craig, there are about 50,000 Elvis tribute artists in the world and about 10 percent of them “make a good living.”

Now, more fans are discovering The King. We’ve invested in better entertainers and more prize money. We have about 5,000 (attending) each weekend. It’s the power and the legacy of Elvis
-The numbers of fans at the show are stronger and stronger each year.

Ronny Craig has worked with many Tribute show bands during the last 20 years, including Change of Habit, EAS Band, Ultimate Legends Tribute Band along with the top Elvis Tribute Artists throughout the world., and they can play almost any Elvis song:

Some of the most popular songs of Elvis’s approximately 750 song library are “How Great Thou Art” and “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” but the fans recognize even the obscure songs.
