Three community partnerships valued at more than $4.5 million over 10 years represent Kansas Crossing’s commitment to workforce development, education, economic development, and tourism in Southeast Kansas. The partnerships have been awarded to the Southeast Kansas Career and Technical Education Center, Pittsburg State University, and Southeast Kansas Tourism Region (SEKTR).
The State of Kansas receives 22% of all Kansas Crossing Casino gaming revenue. 2% of Kansas Crossing’s gaming revenue is allocated to the Problem Gambling & Addictions Grant Fund. Crawford and Cherokee Counties and the City of Pittsburg each receive 1% of gaming revenue.
